I am a creative problem solver who loves to build websites. I started as a graphic designer and have moved into the digital world. I like to solve communication problems and live in a world of no fear. This allows me to constantly improve and adapt to my situations. I work with clients to help them strive forward in their industries and create something that strengthens the bond between the end-user and the brand. This helps them stay in front of their competition.
I offer freelance services in web design, user experience design, strategic consulting, branding, social media strategies and traditional advertising.

I am a designer and technology junkie who likes to study the cultural trends around him. I then figure out how to utlize these trends into useful applications for my clients. My main focus is on creating better user experiences. One of my favourite things to do is grab a nice bold flavour coffee, hangout with my shiny little Mac and watch the people around me interact and engage with their surrounds. There is so much you can learn from the world by taking the time and watching their interactions.
I have been working in advertising for just over 5 years now. I started as a designer. But found that the organizations that I was working for had gaps in their process. I took it a upon myself to find a way to fill those gaps. This lead me into the world of copywriting which I still do from time to time. But this wasn't the only gap that I filled. There was a gap in the organizations digital department. I took my entire tool kit of skills and learned how to apply them successfully to this. The rest as they say is history. I've been building user friendly, clean websites ever since. But in my freelance ventures, I still work in traditional medias as well. This allows me to stay current on trends from all aspects of the industry.
I've always been curious to how people interact and what drives those interactions. I'm a strong believer in the idea that by taking those underlining reasons and applying them to design then you can create a stronger more effective message. The message would seem less like a piece of advertising and more like a conversation. People like to converse. This is why we've seen such a rise in social media applications over the last few years.
But behind every great message, there needs to be strategy. I never design just to design because I like pretty things and great typography, etc. I design with purpose. I research what the trends and conversations are before I even make a ink drop.
If you would like to know more about me and see the conversations I'm having around the web check out some of my other virtual hangouts. Also, if you want to see what inspires me, you can find that in my daily distractions.
Let's start a conversation. I'm available for freelance work. No project is
too small
or too big. Or if you just want to chat that's cool too. Thanks.
